History and Community
Founded in 1807, the City of Tallmadge was planned as part of the Connecticut Western Reserve. Tallmadge Circle is at the center of the city with main thoroughfares branching out as North Ave., South Ave., West Ave. and East Ave. connecting it by only a short drive to the surrounding communities of Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Mogadore, Kent, Brimfield and Stow. City Hall is located on the circle as well as a number of businesses and restaurants catering to local residents.
